When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Interesting question...I am assuming the loose teeth are a result of Periodontal Disease (gum disease). In severe cases, unfortunately, extraction is the only choice, in less than severe cases, gum treatment along with splinting -joining the teeth together- will extend the life of the teeth for a while. If extraction is needed, the options are implants, permanent bridge, removable partial denture,(from high to low cost). Please feel free to contact my practice for a complimentary consultation so we could expand on the above optionsEyad Haidar DMD, CAGS in Prosthodontics

Based solely on the accuracy of the information you have provided:Extraction of the teeth with severe bone loss and two dental implants supporting a bridge cemented to the implants cost around $9-$10,000.Another option could invlove a cemented bridge from lower canine to lower canine in conjunction with the extracting of the lower incisor teeth. Cost around cost in the $8,000 range.Third option is making a removeable cast partial denture, cost including extractions around $2,400All above treatment forms represent quality ways to solve your problem, though each is quite different. Our office, in Lexington, is located 20 minutes from Lowell and is an easy trip down route 3 South. If you bring your x-rays, there would be no charge for a no obligation consult. For more information visit our web site www.smilesbydesign.infoDavid Brother DMD,FAGD

If the teeth absolutley need to be extracted your options are a partial, a bridge, or implants. However, we have recently had much success saving teeth that have little bone support due to periodontal disease. We have been able to accomplish this using laser periodontal gum therapy and the Perio Protect system. This treatment has had a tremendous amount of success and is substantially cheaper ($1000-2000) than the other treatment options previously mentioned. If you would like a free consult I could review your case with you and let you know what option are available for your particular case.Hope to see you soon, Dr. Richard Miller
