Case Description
I am a merchant sailor, About 2 1/2 years ago I had an emergency root canal preformed in Montreal Canada. while i was back out to sea the temp filling fell out and art of the tooth broke off, I went to another dentist in california and he cleaned out an infection and reilled the tooth with another temp filling, this went on 2 more times the last time it broke of entierly just at the gum line that was 8 months ago, fast forward to friday I started having a dull throbing pain from the area around where the few jagged edges of the tooth remain, this pain has been getting worse and I am at the point where over the counter remidies are not helping to control the pain. what can be done?

Cost Estimate: $1500-3500
Hi, It is hard to dx the problem and to offer an exact tx without any x-rays, but I think it sounds like not much tooth structure there any more , so the best tx would be an extraction, then single tooth implant or may be a bridge in the area or if there is enough tooth structure post and core and a crown; please feel to contact our ofice for a free consultation to discuss this matter.
