Patient Review 1:

Yesterday, Dr Goldberg performed a root canal on a cracked tooth of mine that had been causing serious pain for days. I can't begin to express my gratitude to Dr Goldberg and the entire staff. I was terrified when I arrived at the office and certain that the pain that I was feeling would have to get worse, before it would be better?? Absolutely not! With in moments of Dr Goldberg walking into the office, I was at ease and completely numb. His chair- side manner was a complete delight...is it possible that I might have actually even had FUN while undergoing a root canal?? His wonderful demeanor and his guarantee from the very beginning that he would not tolerate me to feel one once of pain (I did not feel ONE OUNCE of pain!) was assuring to say the least. The level of professionalism with which he and his assistant preformed the procedure, combined with the very sincere attention to my personal comfort, honestly made for a very positive experience. The follow up call, later that evening to make sure that I was doing fine was just some icing in the cake!I will not hesitate to go back to Dr Goldberg should I be in need in the future, and I will highly recommend his services to all that I hold near and dear in the future.

Dr. Goldberg performed a painless root canal on me. In the days to follow, I had a very small amount of tenderness. He is a very calm and reassuing dentist. I would highly recommend him. The cost for the root canal was in lne with other specialists. SInce I am new to his office , I can nI ot comment about the billing . The repceptionist was very prompt and helpful.

I'm still unsure about the exact result that I am going to get from this root canal, but after having had multiple bad experiences, he is the best person I could have found.Amazing. Pleasant. Professional and completely set me at ease when I was literally -terrified- to be there. it couldn't have gone better.I'm concerned about the cost, but it was absolutely worth it do get the care and quality that I received.I will not be scared to go back to him to get further work (knock on wood), should I ever have to.

Patient Review 4:

I HATE root canals, and I have a mouth full of them at age 61 (due to poor dental care in my youth). Dr. Goldberg is in the same practice that my primary care dentist is in, so that it how I met him. He is working on his 4th root canal in my mouth (a tricky one on a cracked tooth we are trying to save). I must report that his work is EXCELLENT! He has a cardinal rule, however, by which all patients must abide . . . that being, There Shall Be No Pain. A patient is required to signal at any sign of discomfort!!! From his needle at the beginning to the end of the procedure, I have experienced NO PAIN. I have full confidence in Dr. Goldberg and his assistant . . .I feel that I am in good hands they work on me. I close my eyes and let them do their thing! Dr. Goldberg's manner is reassuring (I'm a baby), and his assistant operates like an extension of him. Dental work is pricey, but to have a "working" mouth is so important to me, that I bite the bullet and pay. I recommend Dr. Goldberg to everyone!!!!! He is just superb. There are two locations to see him: Boston and Brookline. Call . . you won't be disappointed.

Patient Review 5:

To anyone out there who has never found a dentist worthy of sticking with- let me introduce you to Dr. Goldberg. I have notoriously bad luck with bad dentists, so it was really shocking to me how great a dental experience can be. I actually almost fell asleep WHILE he was giving me a root canal! Professional, extremely competent, encouraging and accomodating, Dr. Goldberg will be my go-to dentist for any future root canals I may need (hopefully not too many). I should also point out that he made room for me in his schedule on the same day that I called (I had been abroad and was in tremendous amounts of pain by the time I tried to find a dentist). The only down-side to my story is the cost, but after years and years of pain and botched work, now at least I can say that I am getting what I paid for. I think dentistry is like sushi- even if you find some at a discount, do you really want to risk it?

Patient Review 6:

When I realized I needed to get a root canal, I was extrememely scared, anxious, and nervous. I do not deal well with physical pain and I was so worried about the procedure. As soon as I met Dr. Goldberg, I knew I was in good hands. Not only did he explain the procedure to me in simple terms I could understand, he also eased my mind, letting me know that there are common mosconceptions regarding root canals, and that the pain would be minimal. Actuallly, he was such a good dentist, I experienced no pain at all. I could not beleive it. During the procedure, he always asked how I was feeling, and informing step by step what he was doing. He even said if I prefered him not to inform me of the steps, he would do that as well.I have never been to a better dentist. I arrived feeling so very nervous and scared, and left feeling so confident and happy. This was all due to Dr. Barry Goldberg. Thank you Dr! Thank you so much. If anyone ever needs a root canal, ever feels anxious about the procedure, I strongly recommend Dr. Goldberg, Based on my experience, absolutely no one can do the job better!!

Patient Review 7:

I first had a root canal by Dr. Goldberg in 1999 and then returned this year for two more. He is the nicest, most reassuring dentist ever, what an excellent "bedside manner". He is very good at explaining what needs to be done (draws pictures for you). I am very apprehensive and I never felt any pain. One of my root canals went great, the other will not be successful so he did not finish it, but I think he has given me great advice all the way and is a very caring person. I would definitely go back to him (and I fear eventually I will, as my teeth are awful). Everyone who works in this practice is really pleasant.

Patient Review 8:

Dr. Goldberg recently performed my first root canal. He has excellent chair-side manner and eased my anxiety right from the start. He consistenly reminded me that I should be comfortable at all times (that it should not be painful). Dr. Goldberg answered all my questions and kept me informed during the procedure. Dr. Goldberg's assistant and the staff at Dental Partners are very helpful and create a welcoming / less stressful environment.

Patient Review 9:

Who would say that they had a great time, all the time, at their endodonist? I would! Dr. Goldberg is an outstanding doctor. He had the best follow - up bedside manner I have experienced. I felt taken care of and truly trusted him with the months of work that he performed (I had a number of root canals). If only all doctors and their team were as thoughtful.I moved to Los Angeles one year ago. Before I left, Dr. Goldberg referred me to a general dentist and an endodontist here. I have been happy with that referal. However, they are not the same as Dr. Goldberg and his team. When I had my first meeting with my new dentist, they exclaimed when looking at the work that Dr. Goldberg and his colleagues performed, "you have state of the art dentistry!"Dr. Goldberg is part of Sowles Trauring, an office that I highly recommend. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly. Everything is done under one roof (how smart!). It is the boutique of dental care and worth every penny that you will spend (and you will spend it).Do not hesitate to switch to this office. Great office staff, great hygienists, very helpful with insurance (what little is available), and very respectful of issues that one may have while having work done.

Patient Review 10:

Dr. Goldberg has a soothing presence - a root canal can cause one to feel especially nervous. From the moment I walked into his office, I was met by an extremely courteous staff. Promptly, I was taken to Dr. Goldberg's chair where I was warmly welcomed. His professionalism is only outdone by his loving and caring manner. He carefully listened to my concerns and addressed each and every one in a way that created such an immeasurable calm and peaceful centering, I felt as if I had meditated for 2 hours instead of having a dental procedure. Providing me with his emergency telephone number enveloped me with a sense of being cared for and supported - I didn't need it but just having it was comforting. Dr. Goldberg so takes his patient's comfort and care to heart, I wasn't even anxious for the second root canal!
Treatment Length with Dr. Goldberg: 3 months.

Patient Review 11:

Dr. Goldberg is an outstanding endodontist. The employees, dentists, staff are fantastic. I have never been happier with a dental office. My situation was complicated but they have been thorough in following through. Their skills are never in question nor is their commitment to doing a great job.I recommend them highly! They are not inexpensive. However, they are worth it. What impressed me most was their dilegence in following up on all every appointment. They have a way of making one feel important and special. With so many patience, it is easy to be treated like a number. That was not my experience with Dr. Goldberg and his colleagues at all. I wish them great success.
