Charles M. Trauring, D.M.D., is a cum laude graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has practiced and lectured on Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry since 1968. Patient Review 1:
Who would have thought to say "fabulous" about your dentist!! Dr Trauring earns the highest grades in all categories and must be one of the very best. Extremely professional, perfectionist with a sense of humor, explains more than you would ever think of asking, sunny offices, friendly staff, and surrounded by an excellent group of collaborative colleagues. I came to Dr. Trauring in need of a large number of crowns as a result of years of grinding teeth. I also needed gum work and, it turned out, a number of root canals. I was certainly apprehensive and wondering whether I was at the right place. After consultation with each of his colleagues who would make their particular contribution, a plan was developed, and they each executed their particular specialty while sharing their observations and supporting each other in working most efficiently and effectively. Having this many tallented and supportive Drs at one location is a real plus. The work was not inexpensive, but well worth the price, and smiling for the camera is now a pleasure. I could not speak more highly about the people at Dental Partners of Boston. I am surprised to say that I miss my visits to the office.Thanks Drs.Trauring, Backman and Goldberg.

I have been a patient of Dr. Trauring for many years, over the course of which he has been able to help me maintain and protect my problematic teeth. He did a series of inlays years ago which are standing the test of time.Recently, after ages of very patiently allaying my (and my mothers) concerns about fixing my front teeth, Dr. Trauring gave me an awesome new smile. The two best parts: 1) The procedure was surprisingly quick and painless 2) It looks incredible!As the other reviewers have said, Dr. Trauring is an artist, a perfectionist, a true pro, and caters to each individual patient. His excellent staff is friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable, the office is impeccable and has all state-of-the-art equipment. But, most importantly, the work speaks for itself, both functionally and aesthetically. Highly recommended!

Dr Trauring is the best! My smile is gorgeous, without looking fake like a hollywood movie star. I find I'm smiling alot more than I ever used to. He's a master at his craft... a true perfectionist which is what you want when you're talking about your teeth. He is expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. I've had friends that have done the same as I have with other cheaper dentists, and although their teeth look nice, they have on going problems with their bites which can cause alot of discomfort. I haven't had any problems at all, except everyone who knows me says that I look fabulous but they don't know why. They probably think I had a face lift, but it's just my teeth that make me look 20 years younger.

Dr. Trauring did about 16 gold crowns and onlays for me in the 1970s!!! (I had all kinds of decay under old amalgam fillings... yuck.) I just thought I'd write in and say that it was beautiful work, and is still going strong. It was VERY expensive but you get what you pay for. Every dentist I've been to ever since has said, "Wow, who did this work? It's beautiful!" Thanks, Charlie!-- SCM
