I needed to replace 2 crowns and 2 bondings on my top 4 front teeth.. not an espcially pleasant thought for sure,,, it took me a long time to decide to finally do it (finances, of course involved) and when I found Dr. Share, I found the best. I found him on-line, read his reviews, etc... it meant a trip via subway, certainly not THAT local... but what a find it was.. He's a perfectionist, and caring individual, as is his entire staff.. Every appointment was a pleasant experience as well as informative !!!! And the final outcome... my smile is now amazing.. I'm 57 years old and I feel like it took ten years off my age.!! He is the best...and I would Highly recommend him..!!!

Dr. Share is extraordinary in every way and his professionalism, caring, kindness, and the excellent quality of work have been a constant in the 22 years I have been his patient. As a former model and TV personality, I needed a perfect smile and Jack gave that to me with gorgeous veneers and crowns. As my career took me to new jobs in major markets, I always went to the best cosmetic dentist in each city where I was based at the time. Every one of those dentists told me that Jack's work was flawless and absolutely exquisite. Those are high compliments indeed from his peers and are certainly well deserved. I moved back to New England 14 years ago and would never go to anyone but Jack, even though I now have to drive over an hour each way, fight the traffic, and pay to park in a garage when I visit the office. The entire staff is amazing and Maya, Jim, Sharon, and Bobbie are all true professionals. I consider myself fortunate indeed to be a patient of this practice and I thank them every time that I smile.

About Hygienist: Jim and Sharon are also the best and very nice and they will give you the most thorough cleaning with the least amount of discomfort while talking you through the proceedure.

I thought I'd contribute my thoughts and experiences to the long list that has been accummulating for Dr. Share and his crew. They are truly an exceptional group of professionals. The front desk staff always has a friendly and helpful attitude, which I say without any reservation. They just bend over backward to help. They are incredibly busy at the office, but they work as a fluid team to schedule you for an appointment. This I can say with experience. I was on the wait list when I first became a patient. I diligently got three calls from the receptionist who worked tirelessly to get me in when my own schedule was jammed. Later on I had a dental problem arise and wondered how long I'd have to wait to see Dr. Share. I was scheduled THAT DAY! He's compassionate, patient and explains everything to you, better than all the other dentists out there. And yes, I got a follow up call that evening from the doctor. The office is clean and hi-tech. But, I don't get fooled by gadgets. I know when I'm being treated like an individual and they do the job. See for yourself and read all the other messages here. Todd

I came across this site while looking for a dentist in Virginia (where I now live), saw all the reviews and had to relate my experience. I first saw Dr. Share over 16 years ago while working in Boston. He did several fillings, a crown and referred me for a root canal (which was painless!). The office and staff are great... both friendly and professional. Dr. Share took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I understood my treatment options. Although nobody likes having dental work done, he makes it very painless and even enjoyable with the headphones. Since moving south I have been seen in other dental offices and several dentists and hygienists have commented on what NICE quality my dental work is! That is the ultimate to me! I have referred several friends to Dr. Share and they also would highly recommend him. Check him out.... you won't be sorry!

I had heard of Dr. Share's office from co-workers for about a year before getting around to schedule an appointment, being unsure of where to go. I work down the street so having my doctor and dentist nearby is very important to me. Eventually I did some searches and am I glad I did! The reviews were great. Bobby the secretary at the front desk is very accommodating. They are very busy there but as she promised got me in. The hygienist Susan (I think that's her name) was amazingly gentle. She never talked down to me and had lots of suggestions to help me care for my teeth. I saw Dr. Share for an exam and he was wonderful...very friendly and patient and really thorough. There was a problem with my insurance and they made the calls to straighten it out. They did all the work. They're a good team.

Dr. Share was recommended to me by my co-workers. I found him to be very generous with his time and very patient in explaining his treatment suggestions to me and answering my questions. His work is extremely meticulous and methodical without any discomfort. He completed three implants and six upper veneers. I'm not longer self-conscious about my teeth which has been a great benefit to me both professionally as well as socially. I'm very grateful to be his patient.

About Hygienist: I saw Jim who was amazing. He consistently has given me the best cleanings and he has an incredible dialogue while he works. He is really unique too!

I transferred dentists to Dr. Share after starting work in the Back Bay area of Boston. I have had two fillings placed by him and his work looks great -- and best of all, it's completely painless! His office is very professional -- the receptionist, Bobbi, is extremely helpful and will do all she can to fit you in at a moment's notice. There are TVs and headphones located in each section to ensure that you are distracted during your cleanings and procedures. Four stars!!!

I found the doctor through this website and am extremely pleased with the service. The atmosphere is very happy and relaxing...not what you expect in a dental office. Bobbie is very sweet and amazingly helpful as the receptionist. The hygienist I saw was very thorough and gentle. She was not in a hurry as I've seen in other offices. I had and exam with Dr. Share who was also thorough and really takes the time to explain everything. I came back to fix some cavities and it went really well. I have only good things to say!!!!!

I found Dr. Share on this website and I'm so happy I did. I had the the worst phobia and delayed going to the dentist for as long as I could. Bobbie is as friendly and accomodating as everyone says. Jim the hygenist was so great, he made me feel so comfortable. Jim did a thorough and painless cleaning. I had an exam with Dr. Share and he was just as great. I began seeing the doctor when he was teaching on the faculty at Tufts years ago. I worked all over town but have always remained loyal to him. He uses such great care in everything that he does! One summer I worked at the office provided by Tufts Dental School for their faculty's private practice. One dentist was very highly regarded by his patients but he seemed to have little regard for them. He would sneak out the back stairway to avoid getting his messages and never called patients back.

Dr. Share had just joined the faculty and his schedule was open, so I often sent emergency patients to him. The patients would stop by the desk on their way out to tell me how much they liked him. No one who had been treated by Dr. Share made an effort to return to the highly regarded dentist.

So my parents and I became a patients of Dr. Share's ourselves. When he set up his own office we followed him. I now drive in to Boston from MetroWest for appointments.

One of the many things I like about Dr. Share is the effort he makes to save working teeth. So if he says I need a crown, I know I really do!

When I moved out-of-state for a while, I had a bad dental experience. It was a few years before I was willing to go to a dentist again. By then I was back in Massachusetts and went to see Dr. Share. He respected my fear and went to great lengths to make my visit calming and painless. After a few visits, my fear was gone!

I was transfered to Boston from San Francisco along with a raging toothache. I'll never forget that no one I called would see me that day except Dr. Share. He was totally available to help me and it's not because he's not busy! I've been a patient ever since. They are just consistently good. Their perspective on prevention and maintenance is very reasonable by that I mean they don't try to sell you on whitening and veneers. They provide all those services but are not pushy. I've seen both hygienists and they don't hurt. Dr. Share has done an implant and a few caps and they feel totally normal. The office is clean and modern. I'm now in Maine but still drive down on Saturdays. It's worth the trip.

I relocated to Boston 15 years ago and met Dr. Jack on a Saturday night when no other dentist in town would help me with a severe dental problem. He's compassionate and dedicated...and explains everything so well. He has since done an implant and four veneers. My wife and son, as well as half the office go to him too. His office is clean and modern with the latest gear. He has flat screen TVs everywhere with 100's of DVDs. He has a wonderful chairside manner and listens to your concerns. His staff is stellar especially the scheduler Bobby and Jim the hygienist. You won't be diappointed!

Dr. Share is fanatstic. I agree with every rave below. I'd also add that he explains everything to you thoroughly without sounding condescending, which is a balance not a lot of doctors or dentists, or even vets, can strike. He's not in the network for my coverage, so I pay more than I would for others, but I only get one set of teeth, so it's not worth messing around with anyone but the best!

I've been going to Dr. Share since his practice began, and think he is the very very best doctor and dentist on the planet. His work is both impeccable and leading edge. Jack stays on top of latest technology, practices and procedures - he lives for dentistry! I've had everything done with him: checkups, fillings, root canals, implants, veneers, caps, bridges! His best attribute is: I NEVER FEEL ANY PAIN, no matter what is being done. It's a miracle the way he takes care of you. Dear prospective patients,

I moved to Boston from NYC and probably like so many of us kept seeing my dentist back home. Finally I made the break and began the search for a local dentist that I could trust, knowing that I still needed a lot of dental visits. I went to a couple of those practices in Back Bay that advertise in the Boston newspapers and magazines. I found the dentists there to be phony and slick, and in a hurry to get me in and treat me. In short...no trust...no way! I finally went to the internet...Dr. Oogle in particular. Well, that's all history now. I called the office, spoke to Bobbie, who will guide you through the confusion of insurance and scheduling. She's incredibly helpful, sweet and accommodating. The hygienist gave me the best cleaning I'd ever had. They really take the time to explain things to you and give out lots of literature apparently what Dr. Jack has written personally. Dr. Jack is very patient. He explains everything that he plans to do before he starts....no fear of the unknown. His work is smooth and fast. My trust level is 125%. He's the best! I've had two crowns, a ton of fillings one implant and even four veneers in the last year. I can't say enough. Go there...see for yourself.

Jack cares, Jack remembers

Jack and his team have been very supportive of getting me from bad shape gums/teeth to a relatively heathly state quickly!

While not cheap, you get a very good value.

I have no dental coverage so the fact I pay fully should speak to the quality and confidence I have in the staff and service.

I looked on this site and tried Dr. Share based upon the overwelming positive response-GLAD I DID.

I asked around the office and batched out an email and one name stood out for a dental office in Boston. Dr. Jack Share. An internet search landed me at Dr Oogle and I read the reviews. It all sounded like hype BUT go there. It's all true! Bobbie the receptionist is so sweet and does everything you need to get you through the red tape and confusion of insurance. I saw Jim the hygienisist. It was no doubt, the best cleaning I've ever had. He educates you while he works and it was painless. Dr. Share came in and examined me. He diagnosed a painful problem that I had been having for a year that my previous dentist couldn't figure out. When I came back to see him he discussed what he was going to do first. I felt nothing and when he was finished the pain that I had been having was gone, only after a few days of sensitivity. He gained my trust immediately and I eventually came back for four front teeth veneers. The hype was totally true. I can't stop smiling! And hurray for the website.

Dr. Share is the best dentist I have ever known. I have been a patient since he started his practice and although his practice has grown considerably, the relationship Dr. Share has established with his patients remains the same. He is never perfunctory; each patient receives his full attention, and each and every concern is addressed fully. He is extremely patient with children, and enjoys interacting with them and teaching children and their parents how to maintain optimal oral health. The office staff is professional, helpful, and personable. The office atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. There are also high-tech gadgets available so that you feel as if you are in a concert arena rather than a dentist's office (ask for the Elvis unplugged or Roy Orbison black and white or the Rolling Stones concert DVDs). Dr. Share did a bonding of a front tooth some years ago and it is still completely undetectable - the bleaching he recommended before the proceedure I believe helped extend the longevity of color compatability of the bonding. Although the cost can be a bit high, it is well worth the money...and he will recommend the most cost effective way to achieve optimal results.

Excellent dentist! I came to Dr. Share after a bad experience with another dentist. The other dentist had insisted that I needed 4 cavities filled! Imagine my surprise when Dr. Share took a look and didn't find a single one. He was very thorough with his examination and took the time to listen to my concerns.

Due to his prices I examined other options, but now I am back being his patient because there's no comparison to the service and professional experience of Dr. Share and his staff.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Share for 10 years. His office is of the highest professional caliber. His front desk staff is extremely efficient and accommodating. Bobbie will bend over backwards to help you with a scheduling change. They are always pleasant and very knowledgeable about insurance. Both of his hygienists are thorough and offer wonderful educational information about maintaining our teeth. Dr. Share's assistant is a magician and always seems to know what he wants. They're a great team. She helped with a temporary crown and it felt perfect. Dr. Share is extremely well educated and intelligent. He is always pleasant and has a great sense of humor. On two occasions I was seen by specialists and they both commented on how beautiful his work was. The office is very comfortable with the latest magazines and very clean. He has flat screen TVs in all the treatment rooms and headphones too. Last winter I was very cold while waiting for my bus and he offered me a blanket to keep me warm. My husband had a tooth pulled last year and the doctor called him that evening to see how he was doing. I was caught in a summer shower at the end of my appointment in July and he offered me an umbrella. What else can I say?

Apparently like so many other patients that have come to know Dr. Jack, I too was referred by coworkers. As an aside, it appears that his office is frequented by a very significant number of professionals and assorted office personnel in the financial district of Boston. It's amazing how often his name comes up in conversations about dentists in the area. The numbers speak for themselves. From the minute that you call, Bobbie the receptionist has it all under control...friendly, answering questions, helping with insurance...and so on. By the time I finally arrived she had already profiled my insurance for me and had all the answers about coverage ready. She's on top of it you can be sure. I then saw the hygienist for a cleaning and she was very patient, informative and gentle. What more could you ask for? I was having a problem with a tooth that my previous dentist couldn't diagnose for three years. Dr. Jack came in and we clicked right away. He listens, asks questions and is extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem in two minutes. After rescheduling he resolved the problem easily. For my time and money, not to mention my teeth, there's nowhere else to go but the office of Jack Share. He's the man.

I relocated to Boston about 7 years ago. I sent off an in-house email to get a few recommendations for a dentist in the downtown area. I got back about 25 responses, and 95% of them recommended Dr. Share as the one to see. So my decision was made going with the consensous...and was it ever a good one! The office is clean and professional. His front desk staff is friendly and efficient beyond belief. The hygienisist Jim is amazingly thorough...in fact the best cleaning that I ever had. He gave me an incredible education while he worked. Since that first meeting I have seen Dr. Share for fillings and four veneers on my front teeth. He is amazing!!!! He is incredibly thorough and explains everything in advance of treatment, my pet peeve. The cosmetic result was trully spectacular. I have since brought my wife and daughter to the practice. I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Share's patient for over five years. Having undergone significant dental treatment by other dentists both, in the United States and abroad (Albania) I had developed white coat syndrome when it came to dentists, primarily because the experiences were as painful as results were disappointing. So, when I became a patient of Dr. Share it was like being born. Some of you might laugh, but really, Dr. Share is the only dentist I could ever trust. He has proven to be not only highly professional and extremely knowledgeable, but also a person of admirable candor and up-front attitude which leaves a patient feeling truly safe and happy, even when having to deal with three hours of root canals or esthetic crowns. I can only hope that Dr. Share never opts to retire - well, at least as long as I'm still around. And if he does retire, I hope cloning will be an option so a Dr. Share Jr. can take his place.

Dr. Share is an excellent dentist, a true find!!

I can point out three areas: Dr. Share's dental skills are superb, very exact, and clean in details; he is able to give clear and comprehensive explanations to complex questions ahead of the procedures; his ability to "tune into" a patient's particular needs and circumstances is outstanding.

Though arriving at his office with scant prior knowledge of him, I came to trust Dr. Share pretty quickly: I sensed that he was truly concerned about my overall dental health. The procedures I opted for went very well, and were surprisingly painless.The follow-up by Dr. Share and his administrative assistant Bobbie were remarkable.

The entire office staff, in particular Bobbie at the front desk and his dental assistant Maya are professional, friendly, and welcoming. Treatment plan, billing and insurance claims were taken care of without any problems.

Finally, the results are superb! I completely trust Dr. Share with my future dental needs.

Dr. Share's office is located downtown, right across from my building. It is indeed like a health spa! It has individualized flat panel wide screen TV with headset right in front of you. I had a filling done and I'm normally afraid of the sound of it, but the headset and TV just diverted my attention and it's over so soon!

Jack Share and his office team -- Bobbi at the desk and on the phone - and the hygenists -- they are truly excellent. I've worked in healthcare for over 30 years and I can confidently say that Dr. Share should be teaching patient/customer care, clinical excellence and 'running' an office. I've been with them for over 10 years, have referred many people to them who all agree "the best dentist and office ever". H'es very up front about what is possible and what it costs and realistic outcomes (with 5 kids and college expenses I appreciate the thoughtfulness) . Jack and his staff are real people with engaging interests and seem to enjoy their work very much. It's a positive expereince, very relaxing enviroment and you can tour the Grand Canyon - watch Bruce Springfield or Toy Story and let them do their good work. Not many people can say the same thing of their medical doctor nor those offices. We're lucky in Boston!

The office runs like a precision clock, smooth and punctual. Bobbie the receptionist is amazinglyT helpful. I saw Sharon the hygientist who was both gentle and thorough. Dr. Jack is the BEST! He expplains everything in advance and does beautiful work.

Dr. Share has been my dentist for 30 years. I have since moved to Florida, but when I am in need of the best dental care, I make the trip to Dr. Share in Boston. He has always been acccomodating, and I always receive the finest dental care at his Boston, State Street Office. I first heard of Doctor Share through a friend that moved from Boston to Burlington, Vermont where I live. After having a bad experience with two dentists in my area. I decided that the distance might be worth it considering the amount of work that I needed. I additionally read about the doctor at this website and having had such a wonderful experience I felt complelled to contribute. I drove all the way down from Burlington and saw the doctor on Saturdays staying at a local hotel. Dr. Share is most polite and courteous and provides very detailed and understandable explanations. The quality of his care is exceptional and his staff are very accomodating. Once the assistant met me at the car to help me into the office. The doctor placed 12 veneers and we're talking about an implant for a missing molar tooth. I must say that although he is a professional man, he really treats me like a friend. I can't say enough. Thank you.

My husband had been trying to get me to see Dr. Jack for years until I broke a tooth. My dentist couldn't see me for 3 days, so I called Dr. Share. He saw me that day and fixed the tooth. That was 5 years ago. Since then I've sent everyone in my office. Everyone loves him and the staff is awesome! He just placed 6 cosmetic veneers. I can't stop smiling!!!

Dr. Jack is the man! He was recommended to me because of location, when I began working a couple of blocks away from his office, years ago. My wife and I now both go to him despite the fact that I now work on the other side of the city. His staff is the best, most professional I've ever seen, and turnover seems extremely rare. His offices are very well run and comfortable (waiting rooms and care rooms), and the staff stays on schedule -- I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes past a scheduled appointment. They handle all the insurance forms (but then, they all do now), so you don't have to. He has taken the time to educate me more effectively about my care and how I can improve it than any other practitioner I've had, too, to my continued benefit. A class act from entrance to exit. (Rumor has it that he is the practitioner of choice among most of the downtown attorneys, clearly a very good sign.)

I was referred to Dr. Share by colleagues when I needed to change dentists. I only wish I knew about him/his office years ago! His staff is very professional, friendly & accommodating. Office atmosphere is luxurious & immaculate. Dr. Share is congenial; he fully informed me of all procedures & consequences. Anesthetic was almost painless; dental work very efficient (i.e., I was not forced to wait a long time between treatment steps) & dental work is of highest quality, with paramount consideration for patient comfort during procedures. His office processes forms for my insurance company, and co-payments are reasonable. Dr. Share would be a tremendous professor/mentor for dental students, as he excels in soft skills as well as dental skills.

The doctor explained eveything in advance of starting. The injection was painless and I loved watching the DVD's on the flatscreen during treatment. The white fillings that I had done felt great from the start and looked even better. I found the fees to be very reasonable.
